Finnlamelli executes the designing of electrical power supply and internal electrical installation, documentation necessary for the system usage as well as construction with the help from subcontractors. Designing includes solutions for lighting, supply system for sockets and domestic appliances, electrical heating and ventilation. Weak current cabling with alarm systems and fire signalisation is also solved. For usage of the electrical installations, Finnlamelli organizes a surveyor to the object to execute the survey and technical inspection including safety of the electrical installations. In close cooperation with a competent subcontractor we also execute electrical system installation and construction of weak current system. Superficial installation of cables is not used for modern log houses. The whole cabling is hidden inside the constructions of walls, ceilings and floors. Power cables for sockets run beneath the floor and up to their designated places according to the project by channels in the walls. The cables running beneath the floors are mounted in plastic tubes to avoid any possible damages. It is of utmost importance to consider certain volume reduction of logs so the tightened cables will not break. Switches as well as majority of sockets are installed into non-subsiding partition walls. For lighting we aim to use less halogens that need to be cast into surfaces since their working temperature is high. Nevertheless, if halogens are to be used, we will install these with heat-resisting covers. Electrical systems of contemporary log houses are also solved contemporarily and a well considered electrical project makes the house more comfortable and expressive.
